I O WAY

We spent the weekend in Iowa.  Paul had an archery tournament and my mom met us for a little girls weekend while Paul was shooting.

The first night we stayed at a waterpark which was so much fun for Marla.  Leah did not like the water.  Which we were all surprised by because she LOVES her bath. Isn't she cute in her swimsuit though. I cropped my mama out because I am pretty sure this bathing beauty does not want to be displayed in bloggy land.  You are welcome mama.

All I have to say about staying at hotels with waterparks in it is, "Holey Melons parents, do you mind parenting for once!!!!"

The second night we stayed at a quite hotel off the beaten path.  Thankfully.  We stopped at Hobby Lobby because I LOVE Hobby Lobby and we do not have one in MN.  It is a crying shame I tell you. Anyway, Marla picked out a jewelry kit and we had a much fun jewelry making that night.

Here is Grams enjoying her babies. Can't beat a little snuggle time.  It was a good weekend. Marla and Leah were such good girls.  Leah was so wore out by Sunday that she sleep the whole 5 hour trip home and then slept through the night.

Unrelated, here is my $10 wreath from Michaels.  Everything was 80% off or better and I just whipped it together.  It is really obnoxious but I think wreaths should be. Really what is the point of a boring wreath? This is one of those weird narrow doors so it looks bigger then it is.
