Marla wanted a tea party birthday this year so we decided to have it in the back yard with a few friends. I has been so nice here lately....until the day of the party when it is windy and HOT.
Here is the set up, the big chest to the left was full of dress up clothes but it was so hot no one wanted to dress up. I don't blame them. Table set in the middle and food table to the right. The bucket on the bottom right is bubble wand dressed up with tulle. They were the parting gift. We also did a pinata and glitter tattoos then headed inside for cake.
I made the chandelier using mardi gras beads and a wire hanging basket and added the crystals for some bling.
Here is the food table. We kept it pretty simple. They are 5 after all and simple is best with kids.
We ventured inside for cake time. The girls were troopers but it was pretty hot. This is one happy birthday girl!!!
This was not party related but too cute not to share.
